What’s a DNR-C and what does it have to do with Advance Care Planning?

Ann Bettles, Supervisor of Community Paramedicine for the Region of Waterloo, returns to Hospice Waterloo Region to share her expertise and passion for community paramedicine.

This two-hour virtual session will allow us to focus on what YOU need to know and understand about the “DNR-C” (“Do Not Resuscitate. Confirmation form). This session will also explore the role of Advance Care Planning in medical decision-making.

SPEAKERS

Ann Bettles has been a Paramedic with the Region of Waterloo since 2001. She currently holds the position of Supervisor, Community Paramedicine. She is an advocate for clients and their families, encouraging the best quality of life possible.

Lynn Weimer has four decades of experience as a registered nurse, the majority of that time in the intensive-care units. Today, she enjoys volunteering with Hospice Waterloo Region, as well as travelling and working in her gardens.
