Following up on our successful Dying to Know event in fall 2023, we are inviting key members of our community to bring you the practical information about death, dying the grief that you asked for a one-day session.

Dying to Know is returning this year!

Join us for a Dying to Know Day on Oct. 19th from 9:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. We have invited key members of our community to bring you the practical information about death, dying and grief that you asked for.

We are also excited to welcome two keynote speakers:

• Yvonne Heath, author of “Love Your Life to Death”
• Dr. Kathryn Mannix, author of “With the End in Mind” 

Whether you are a healthcare professional, a caregiver, a student, or simply curious about the subject matter, this event offers a valuable opportunity to explore one of life’s most profound experiences.

Livestream Option: 
Please note that due to technical difficulties, we are not currently planning to livestream the event this year, but check back in September and October in case the situation changes.

ABOUT THE ORGANIZERS

Dying to Know is a thought-provoking event exploring the often-taboo subject of death. The event is hosted in partnership with Hospice Waterloo Region and St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, with funds provided by the Agnes Stock education fund.
